Major announcement time! In association with ORCHA and WHIS, we are proud to host DEpressON’s very first workshop.

Below you can find the official poster, and we’ve received a ton of interest and curiosity already! We thought it would be best to briefly explain the workshop’s details, the registration process and what would be covered. We will also discuss how you could help us make a difference and how you could get involved!

So when and where is the workshop held?

Date: 10th and 11th of May, 2017

Timings: 9 AM to 6 PM (both days)

Location: Liverpool Science Park, United Kingdom

What would be covered on the day?

A lot of major things would be discussed and covered during the workshop. From app design and development to the implementation of specific features, and user feedback, you can give in your opinions and ideas to make DEpressON the app you’ve had a say in designing. Our developers would take in your criticism and feedback, and consider it during the final steps of developing the application.

How do I register?

Since spaces are limited, you can register by RSVPing to our workshop through http://tinyurl.com/n87dbje.

You can alternatively scan the QR code on the poster or below with a QR code reader (we suggest this for android and this for iPhone), to save time! 😀

Scan to go to our event page and register!

You will then receive a confirmation email, stating the timing and date you have been assigned to, giving everyone a chance to attend, and to keep track of our space.

How can you make a difference?

Your ideas and opinions about the app – in terms of look, feel and features – will be used and considered when the developers are building the app. What you like and what you dislike will be implemented and disregarded respectively, for the app to designed into something that is made for the people, by the people.

This is a great opportunity for you to:

  1. Have your say in how the app will look and feel like
  2. Increase and raise awareness for mental health and illness, and the ways to find support and help
  3. Work towards a fantastic cause

How else could you get involved?

If you share and pass on the workshop for your friends, family members and peers to attend, or just anyone you’d think would be interested in this, it would be a great help. Whether it is through spreading our posters all over and around your community and area, word of mouth or sharing on social media, you’d be helping us achieve what we’ve been wanting to: to make a difference and reach a large number of people.

If you are interested in helping us with passing out posters, workshop arrangements or other errands, send us an email on depressonapp@hotmail.com 😀

Thank you for your continued support,

DEpressON team
